中美防爆电机电器有限公司座落于驰名中外的陶瓷硫璃之乡--博山。它是在原博山防爆电器一厂的基础上组建而成的。是原化工部、机械部、轻工部和中国石化总公司定点生产防爆电机和电器的专业厂。公司现有职工486人，其中各类技术人员120多人，下属有防爆电机电器厂、防爆灯具厂、低压成套设备厂和供销公司。
本公司具有四十多年生产防爆电机、防爆电器和防爆灯具的历史，技术力量雄厚、服务周到，在北京、西安、上海等地分别设有办事处和代理公司。公司各厂拥有先进的技术装备，开发新产品的能力强，检测手段完善，采用微机化管理。设有铸造、压铸、机加工、焊接、装配、热压、喷漆等生产车间，形成了新产品的开发、设计、研制、制造一条龙体系，有能力、有实力承接非标防爆电机 、防爆电气设备和低压成套电气设备的设计和制造。
本公司生产的防爆电机电器设备及低压成套设备到目前为止已达200多个品种，3000多个规格，其产品广泛采用IEC60079-0:1998、60079-1:1990、60079-2:1990、60079-10:1996、德国、欧共体DINEN50014、50018、50019标准及GB3836.1～4及各自的产品标准设计制造。
本公司的上述产品均具有国家指定机关颁发的防爆合格证、船检证和生产许可证。企业于1999年通过ISO9001（GB/T19001）国际标准质量体系认证，在公司内部积极推行现代企业管理制度，取得了良好的效果。生产的产品畅销于国内各大油田、石化公司、船舶制造业、海上石油钻井平台、军工、炼油、化工、制药、纺织等及有关的国家重点工程，并作为配套产品出口于国外许多国家和地区。

She was set up on the base of Boshan explosion-proof electrical apparatus factory of first plant, and is also a special factory of the explosion-proof motors、explosion-proof apparatus、explosion-proof lamps and low-voltage apparatus appointed by the Chemical-Industry Ministry、Machine Industry Ministry、Oil and Chemical Group Co.LTD.
